Weekly Shotokan Karate Classes

Yes, Karate BC allows you to try out 3 classes in our dojo before joining.  After that, in order to train with us you need to become a Karate BC Member.  

For New members:

• Complete all necessary fields and proceed to the payment page.
• Your DOJO name is Thompson-Nicola Shotokan Karate Club
• If you are joining after January 1st, your membership fee will be pro-rated from the original amount.

Yes, Karate BC allows you to try out 3 classes in our dojo before joining.  After that, in order to train with us you need to become a Karate BC Member.  

There are a number of different ways to pay for karate. We mainly use the My Studio App however, we do accept etransfers to our email address, cash and cheques payable to "Thompson-Nicola Shotokan Karate". For a nominal fee, we can also accept credit and debit cards via "the Square" or Pay Pal.

Karate is really for all ages; however, generally by 8-years old a child has the capacity to handle training at our dojo. That being said, some 5-year olds also have the concentration to participate. Each individual is different, that is why it is important to use those 3 free classes.
