Group Karate - Easter Demo

Students performed a group kata - Taikyoku Shodan at the Cache Creek Easter Egg Hunt put on by the Cache Creek Fire Department.

THOMPSON-NICOLA 1 STRIKE, 1 BLOCK TEAM KATA

Today (February 9, 2022) in our family karate class, Sempai Jim lead a 'create a new kata' game. Each karate athlete (even our new white belt) came up with two techniques, 1 strike and 1 block to add to the kata. We combined everyone's techniques to create this kata. Here we are performing as a team for the first time. What a great way to creatively exercise our minds and work as a team! I love how everyone supported each other in remembering the moves.
